About Kathryn Buchanan
After graduating high school, Kathryn Buchanan attended Mississippi University for Women, where she received her Associate’s of Science in Nursing in 2019, and then her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2020. She graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with her Master of Science in Nursing, Cum Laude, with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2023. In addition, she is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Kathryn began her career as a Registered Nurse in the ICU. Kathryn gained her experience in the ICU, Emergency Department, Acute Care, Home Health, and Med-Surg. She enjoys the dynamics of family practice as a nurse practitioner.
Kathryn enjoys all areas of family practice. She has special interests in adult care, maintenance, and acute care of all ages. Her other interests include women’s health, pediatrics ages 2 years and up, wellness, and preventative health care.
Kathryn is originally from Mississippi but now resides in Ellinwood, Kansas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding, running, and reading.
