Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Emergency Department is here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, staffed with a 24 hour on-call provider. Our emergency department can meet your emergency care needs, including but not limited to: chest pain evaluations, respiratory issues, lacerations, headache, fever, abdominal pain and trauma.
Trauma patients requiring more specialized care will be stabilized for transport. Our Pawnee Valley Community Hospital campus is equipped with a helicopter landing pad for patients who need to be transported out for urgent specialized care.
Be Prepared for An Emergency
You never know when an emergency will strike, but to facilitate your care when it does, it is helpful to keep a packet of information handy to speed along your care in our emergency department. Make sure you can provide the following:
An up-to-date medication list, including over-the-counter products such as vitamins, herbs and other supplements
Medical history, including any known allergies
All insurance and other medical cards
Emergency contact information with up-to-date contact information
