Post-Acute Care for Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation
At Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, we provide comprehensive rehabilitation care and services for patients who no longer require acute care but are not quite ready to return back home.
If you are discharged from the hospital after hip surgery, but still need more time for physical and occupational therapy before going home, or if you are recovering from pneumonia and need more intravenous antibiotics before going home, we have the services for you here at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital. You don’t have to transfer to a skilled nursing facility – simply stay in a place where everything and everyone is familiar and understands what you require for the next stage of your recovery.
Care provided within this setting allows patients to participate in rehabilitation while in their own community with the support of their family and friends. With skilled nursing care in our hospital’s swing beds, you will have access to the following services:
