About Dr. Reimer
Dr. Arlo J. Reimer. M.D., received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Friends University. He then went on to medical school at the University of Kansas, completing his first two years in Kansas City, his clinical rotations in Wichita, and graduating from the School of Medicine in 1997. Following medical school, he completed his family medicine residency program at Via Christi in Wichita.
Following residency, he relocated to western Kansas and practiced at Kearny County Hospital in Lakin. While there, he and his wife, Angela, raised two boys. After the boys finished high school, he and his wife relocated to the eastern side of the state, where he practiced at Herington Hospital for two years. Dr. Reimer then moved back to the West to settle here in Larned.
Dr. Reimer has spent over 20 years caring for patients of all ages. He has interests in pediatrics, family planning, women’s health, chronic disease management, and preventive care. He enjoys advocating for quality and serves as the current board chair for KFMC (formerly known as Kansas Foundation for Medical Care). This organization is one of the quality improvement advocates in our state.
In his free time, he likes to relax with family if possible. He also enjoys singing, woodworking, taking walks, and watching movies.
