Patient Billing Statements
Pawnee Valley Community Hospital has identified an issue involving patient billing statements which were mailed out recently by a third-party vendor. The issue is limited to only those statements sent on May 21, 2026. Due to a processing error, patient billing statements for Pawnee Valley Community Hospital (PVCH) patients contained the logo and contact information for “Powell Valley Healthcare” (PVHC). Our team is actively working on this situation to address the issue and has taken action to prevent it from happening again.
No information regarding Pawnee Valley Community Hospital’s patients was provided to Powell Valley Healthcare. This error occurred when the third-party vendor printed the statements and attached the incorrect hospital logo and statement template information.
If you received a billing statement from Powell Valley Healthcare, no action is needed. A new patient billing statement will be sent to you with the correct Pawnee Valley Community Hospital logo and information.
