Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Contributes to Local Schools and the American Cancer Society
Pawnee Valley Community Hospital has embraced the spirit of giving by donating to the local schools and the American Cancer Society. This act of generosity underscores the hospital’s focus on the community’s health and wellness.
The hospital, a cornerstone of healthcare in Pawnee County, recently held multiple fundraising events for their Associates and the public: a T-shirt fundraiser, a 5K run, and a Change War.
The funds collected through the Pumpkin Decorating Change War will go towards unpaid lunches at Pawnee Heights and Larned Elementary Schools. The funds raised through the Breast and Colon Cancer T-shirt fundraiser and Pink Power 5K Run will be donated to the American Cancer Society, a leading organization in the fight against cancer.
Melanie Urban, Administrator of Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, ” A heartfelt thank you goes to our Culture Committee members, who have rallied behind the hospital’s commitment to giving back to our community. ”
As Pawnee Valley Community Hospital continues to embody the spirit of giving, the community can take pride in knowing that their local hospital is not only focused on caring for the community but also on nurturing the collective spirit of compassion and support for the community.
