About Susan Aistrup
Susan Aistrup graduated from Fort Hays State University with her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2015. In addition, she is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Kansas Nurse Practitioner’s Association.
Susan began her career as a Registered Nurse in 1991. Over the last 30+ years, Susan gained experience in Acute care, ICU, Emergency Room, Skilled care, Surgery, Home Health, and Oncology/Hematology. She enjoys the many facets of family practice as a nurse practitioner. She embraces the learning process and the challenge that every patient brings.
As a provider at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Family Medicine, Susan enjoys all areas of family practice with special interests in women’s health, pediatrics ages 2 years and up, adult care, maintenance, and acute care of all ages. Other interests include wellness and preventative health care.
Susan graduated from Pawnee Heights High School and now resides in Hanston, Kansas, where she and her husband farm and run cattle. She has two grown daughters and six grandchildren. In her free time, she likes to spend time with family, garden, cook, watching K-State sports and Chiefs football.
